Monash residents will be awarded Silver Stars under a recycling rewards program
- Garbage - Red-Lid Wheelie Bin (weekly)
- Recycling - Yellow-lid Wheelie Bin (fortnightly)
- Green Waste - Green-lid Wheelie Bin (fortnightly)
*Residents of Ashwood, Burwood, Chadstone, Clayton, Glen Waverley, Hughesdale, Huntingdale, Mount Waverley, Mulgrave, Notting Hill, Oakleigh and Wheelers Hill.
Collection Services
Yearly Hard Rubbish Collection
Hard wastes comprising metals, wood, household appliances or furniture and small car parts will be collected annually and where possible recycled. Green waste that is bundled and tied will also be collected. You will receive a notice in your letterbox two weeks prior to collection day for your area.
Transfer Station
Excess waste can be taken to the Monash Waste Transfer and Recycling Station.Fees apply.
