Annual Hard Waste and Tied Prunings Collection

Hard wastes comprising metals, wood, household appliances or furniture and small car parts will be collected annually and where possible recycled. Green waste that is bundled and tied will also be collected. You will receive a notice in your letterbox two weeks prior to collection day for your area. More information

Transfer Station

Excess waste may be taken to the Monash Waste Transfer and Recycling Station, 380 Ferntree Gully Road, Notting Hill.

Maintaining Your Bins

ins can be kept free of odours by regularly cleaning with soapy water and a broom or hand held brush. The Council will carry out maintenance and repairs or replacement of your bin where bins are subjected to normal wear and tear. Do not place any hot ashes or liquids in your bin.

Changing Residence

When you change your residence your bins must be left with the property for use by the next occupant. Bins are the property of Council.

Litter

Litter can have a major impact on our creeks, rivers and bay environments. Council provide bins in appropriate areas; however if a bin is not available please take your rubbish home.
