The Council’s Discretionary Fund provides Council with the ability to approve small discretionary grants to community members and groups in response to requests which are received from time to time.
The Monash Community Grants Program (MCGP) provides funding to support community groups and organisations to deliver projects, activities and events to strengthen, enhance and benefit the Monash community.
Monash won awards in several areas including Sustainable Cities, Childcare, Lifeguard of the Year and was a finalist in several community awards.
The Golden Plate Awards recognise businesses throughout the region that are providing a high standard of food safety.
Monash Council recognises the value of supporting, encouraging and promoting the development of individual artists both in the pursuit of their careers and their contribution to the cultural life of Monash.
The aim of the Monash Business Awards is to promote businesses success and excellence.
The grants offer funding for small, grass roots programs to improve local neighbourhoods.
