On 11 November 2019,  MT Pang Tsoi was elected as Monash's Deputy Mayor for the next 12 months. 

MT Pang Tsoi is working hard to deliver on his commitment for a better Monash.

MT, who lives in Mount Waverley, came to Australia from Hong Kong more than 10 years ago to build a better life for himself and his family.  

As an Australian citizen, MT is proud to call Australia home. As a person who appreciates multiculturalism greatly, MT is able to speak English, Cantonese, Teochew dialect (Chao shan hua) and Chinese Mandarin (Pu Tong Hua) fluently.

MT is a Monash University alumnus who teaches economics at university and college.
