Ashwood and Chadstone residents were encouraged to share their ideas for the future of their area.
Residents' ideas will feed into a community action plan that Council is developing, with the aim of making Ashwood/Chadstone an even better place to live, work and socialise. A similar action plan is being developed in Oakleigh with involvement from the local community.
Both plans follow in the footsteps of the Strengthening Clayton and Clarinda Action Plan, where the spinoff projects included: street beautification works, a campaign for the removal of the Clayton level crossing, and training in aged care for local residents.
Residents were asked to tell us what they think by:
- Attending a community forum
- Filling in a short survey
- Calling Jaya Manchikanti, Place Manager - Ashwood/Chadstone, on 9832 5802 or emailing at JayaM@monash.vic.gov.au
If you provided your contact details, we will send you updates about the action plan.
