Businesses in four local shopping strips - Clayton, Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley (Pinewood) and Oakleigh - decorated their shopfront windows for the festive season.
Customers nominated their favourite window in each area. Every customer who nominated a business went into the draw to win a hamper full of local goods.
Businesses could also nominate their favourite display (including their own shopfront). In addition to being voted the 'most popular' window, businesses were also judged on the colour, innovation, creativity and originality of their display and how their products were incorporated.
The competition closed on Thursday 18 December 2014.
The winner of the Christmas hamper was Bonn Miguel.
Craig Lane, Vice President of the Glen Waverley Traders Association, presented the Christmas hamper to Bonn and his children Karl & Gabbie in front of the Christmas tree at the Civic Centre.
