We have been seeking community views on what Monash libraries could do to improve or expand their services.
A new three-year strategic plan is being developed for the Monash Public Library Service, with a focus on opportunities for life-long learning, social interaction, and cultural exchange.
The plan will build on the strengths of the library service, which records about 1 million visits per year. In annual surveys, Monash residents regularly rank our libraries as one of Council’s highest performing services.
Opening a neighbourhood library in Mulgrave was one of the major achievements reached during the life of the current strategic plan:

We were keen to hear the community's views on how the libraries can best promote safe use of online technology.
Ideas and feedback were sought by Thursday 2 April 2015.
Everyone who participated went into the draw to win an iPad mini.
