Monash Council gives notice under Section 190 of the Local Government Act 1989 of its intention to grant a lease renewal to Telstra Corporation Limited for the existing low impact telecommunications facility located on part of Council’s land at 2-24 Maygrove Way, Mulgrave (also known as 75-77 Haverbrack Drive, Mulgrave).
Principal terms of the Lease:
- Rent: $12,500
- Term: 10 years
- Further Term: Two further terms of 5 years each
- Rent Reviews: Increase annually by 3.5%
- Permitted Use: Low impact telecommunications facility
Pursuant to Section 223 of the Act, any person may make a written submission to Council on the proposed lease up until Friday 6 April 2018.
Submissions quoting ‘Lease Haverbrack Drive’ can be mailed to Monash Council, PO Box 1, Glen Waverley 3150.
Submitters may request to speak to their submission (or have a person speak on their behalf) at a meeting of a Committee of Council comprising Mulgrave Ward Councillors at 7.30pm, on Tuesday 10 April 2018.
Council will consider every submission received before deciding whether to lease the land.
