Notice of the preparation of Amendment C144

Submissions sought by 02 July 2018

The Monash City Council has prepared Amendment C144 to the Monash Planning Scheme.

The land affected by the amendment is 14-16 Atkinson Street, Chadstone.

The amendment proposes to rezone land at 14-16 Atkinson Street, Chadstone from Public Use Zone 6 (PUZ6) to General Residential Zone – Schedule 2 (GRZ2), and apply the Vegetation Protection Overlay – Schedule 1 (VPO1).

You may inspect the amendment, any documents that support the amendment and the explanatory report about the amendment, free of charge:

  • During office hours, at the office of the planning authority, Monash Civic Centre, 293 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley
  • At the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning website

Any person who may be affected by the amendment may make a submission to the planning authority about the amendment. Submissions must be made in writing giving the submitter’s name and contact address, clearly stating the grounds on which the amendment is supported or opposed and indicating what changes (if any) the submitter wishes to make.

Submissions can be sent to the Coordinator, Strategic Planning, Monash Council, PO Box 1, Glen Waverley VIC 3150, by 2 July 2018.

The planning authority must make a copy of every submission available at its office for any person to inspect free of charge for two months after the amendment comes into operation or lapses.
