Viewpoint Avenue, Glen Waverley - new playspace

Consultation closed on 27 November 2015

Viewpoint Avenue Reserve concept plan

A new playspace opened in Viewpoint Avenue (Glen Waverley) in late June 2016, providing a more interesting and fun experience for local children.

The new equipment includes: a basket swing, slide, double swing, and a climbing timber interactive wall. There are natural play elements such as log steppers.

Other improvements have been made to this recreational space, including the installation of a picnic table and a new gate.

Before undertaking the playspace upgrade, Council sought ideas from the community about what they would like to see included. Some ideas were incorporated into the design. Thank you to local residents who provided ideas to help Council create this modern playspace.
