Notting Hill is a growing area of Monash and Council wants to work with local residents to build a strong and vibrant community. There are many ways to build a stronger community including changes to open space, new programs to support and connect people and new public infrastructure such as bike paths and lighting.
The most important way to build a community is for local people to tell Council what improvements can be made, what their concerns are and what ideas can be implemented in the future!
We asked residents to complete the survey to help Council understand how local open spaces in Notting Hill are enjoyed and used, as well as what extra things, or new activities, can be developed in Notting Hill’s open spaces.
There were a number of questions about some quick changes in Notting Hill that Council may undertake, but we want to identify a level of support from residents before we act.
There was also an opportunity to tell Council about any of your other concerns, ideas and suggestions in the survey.
The survey was open until Friday 29 June 2018.
Where to from here?
Completing this survey will help Council identify the most popular projects for making quick changes. Council is also developing a broader and long term plan to build a stronger community in Notting Hill and your concerns or suggestions about other community improvements will feed into this plan.
