Council is seeking community feedback on the proposed development of a 21 storey building for a mixed-use development comprising of six (6) retail tenancies/food and drink premises and 147 dwellings, at 251-261 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley.

Feedback is formally sought by Thursday 16 September 2021. However, Council will continue to accept submissions on this proposal up until it makes a decision. 

The applicant, Hongxing Springvale Road Pty Ltd is proposing a $48 million development which is detailed as follows:

  • Development of the land for a 21 storey building with four levels of basement.
  • Maximum height of 76.4 metres.
  • A total 147 dwellings.
  • Three levels of retail space comprising 6 tenancies with a  total floor area of 1,832 square metres.
  • Four level of basement car park providing a total of 167 car parking spaces including:
    • 152 spaces for dwellings;
    • 15 spaces for retail premises
  • A total of 86 bicycle spaces.
  • A total of 7 motorcycle spaces.

How to provide feedback

Any person who may be affected by the proposal may lodge an objection or provide feedback to Council. Objections must be made in writing.
