Proposed development at 276 Lawrence Road, Mount Waverley

Community feedback sought by 02 July 2020

Council is seeking community feedback on a proposed development of this property comprising partial demolition, alterations and additions to a building within a heritage overlay, together with the construction of eight double storey dwellings at 276 Lawrence Road, Mount Waverley. 

Feedback is formally sought by Thursday 2 July 2020. However, Council will continue to accept submissions on this proposal up until it makes a decision.

The applicant is proposing a $1.8 million development that includes:

  • Modifications to the existing dwelling, including partial demolition and reconfiguration of the entry to the dwelling.
  • Eight double storey dwellings, ranging between 3- 4 bedrooms. Two of the dwellings front onto Lawrence Road and the other six are located behind the original dwelling.
  • A central driveway, utilising the existing crossover, to access all dwellings.
  • Retention of four existing trees at the front of the site.
