Upgrade to Dennis Street (Clayton) playspace

Feedback sought by 30 March 2018

Council is planning to upgrade the playspace at Dennis Street, to make it more interesting and fun for local children.

Last year, we sought community ideas on what should be included in the new playspace. We have incorporated some of the community's ideas into a draft concept plan. We sought community feedback until Friday 30 March 2018.

We want to make this a fun and engaging place and we hope you like what we've proposed.

  • Outdoor fitness equipment.

Other elements of the project will include:

  • Refurbished picnic shelter
  • Installation of accessible BBQ and drinking fountain
  • New seating and platform benches
  • Planting more trees and other vegetation.

Thank you to those who provide feedback – it will help ensure that we deliver a project that is valued by the local community.

Council sought community ideas on what could be included in the new playspace by Friday 21 April 2017.

Residents were able to provide their ideas to us through a survey or by meeting us at the Dennis St playspace in early April 2017 to discuss their thoughts.
