During this time of unprecedented challenges due to the Coronavirus we have plans in place to ensure the ongoing delivery of essential services, including immunisation.

It is important for families to continue their child’s immunisation schedule.

As an essential service clients are able to attend immunisation sessions under the medical and caring reasons for leaving your home under the current stage 4 restrictions.

Please keep your try booking ticket confirmation email for further information about the session and if required to provide reasons for travelling outside your suburb.

Face masks

  • You’ll notice that our Immunisation Nurses will be wearing protective items like masks, plastic aprons and eye protectors. This is to protect staff and our community from the spread of the virus.
  • From the 23 July 2020, it is a requirement that all clients over the age of 12 years of age wear a face covering when out in public.
  • Infants and children under the age of 12 years are not required to wear a face covering.
  • Please ONLY attend the immunisation session if you are able to wear a face covering as required.
  • For health and safety of other community members and staff, those over the age of 12 years not wearing a face covering will be unable to attend the immunisation session.

Attendance questions

At each session and in your confirmation email you will be asked:

  • Have you or a family member been in contact with a suspected or confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
  • Have you or a family member been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting your test results?
  • Have you or a family member returned from interstate or international travel in the past 14 days?
  • Have you or a family member had a high temperature, sore throat, chills, loss of sense of smell or taste, cough, runny nose in the past 5 days?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions, please call the Immunisation team on 9518 3534 or inform the concierge staff at the session.

For health and safety, we are asking that ONLY 1 adult accompanies their child/children to the immunisation session. Please do not bring extended family/carers to these sessions. If you have more than one child to be immunised please book appointments ideally one after the other.

Secondary School Immunisation Program

Victoria’s Chief Health Officer has advised that delivery of the secondary school immunisation program is an essential medical service and your child should still receive the required vaccines on time.
