Changes to public parking as work starts at Oakleigh Recreation Centre

 26 June 2019

Work on the $24.4M redevelopment of the Oakleigh Recreation Centre (ORC) is underway with temporary fencing to be erected across the main entrance into ORC. The fencing will also extend along  Park Road and into the existing carparking spaces located in front of the tennis club house and the tennis courts.

This will result in public carparking no longer being available on the ORC site or on the west side of Park Road along the Park Road boundary to ORC.  This will allow the required new on-street carparking and civil works to be undertaken.  This restriction will need to be in place for the duration of the project, until September 2020.

There will be no disruption to traffic during these works.
