The latest COVID-19 information for Victoria, including case locations and outbreaks and testing sites, can be found on the DHHS website and via the Chief Health Officer's updates.
If you are in isolation or quarantine due to having COVID-19 or being a close contact, and you need support, call the COVID Hotline on 1800 675 398 or Monash Customer Service on 9518 3555 and we will direct your call to someone who can assist.
Anyone who has visited one of the public exposure sites that are regularly updated on the DHHS website on the relevant dates and times should take note of the testing advice given under each grouping of sites.
The symptoms to watch out for are:
- chills or sweats
- sore throat
- shortness of breath
- runny nose
- loss or change in sense of smell or taste.
Some people may also experience headache, muscle soreness, stuffy nose, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
As of 5pm 31 December 2020 wearing masks is now mandatory indoors in Victoria.
This includes at:
- shopping centres, supermarkets, retail outlets and indoor markets
- hospitals and aged care facilities
- restaurants and cafes, except when you are eating or drinking
- churches and places of worship
- indoor workplaces.
There are exceptions, including when you are eating and drinking or if you have a health condition.
