From Thursday 11 October the Damper Creek Reserve access stairway at Tarella Drive, Mount Waverley will be closed for approximately 5 weeks to allow for maintenance works to be carried out.
The bridge across Damper Creek accessing the bottom of the stairs will also be closed during this time.
The works are expected to be completed and the stairs re-opened for use by Saturday 10 November.
A detour is available across the creek via the bridge 300m downstream near Alice Street. You can access this via walking tracks along both sides of the creek. Please see the map below for more.
The repairs will ensure the reserve continues to be safe for use by the community.
