Monash Council has approved the release of its draft Governance Rules, which include the Election Period Policy for public consultation.
These Rules will replace the Meeting Procedures Local Law and govern the conduct of meetings of Council and Delegated Committees.

Council is inviting written submissions on the draft Governance Rules and the Election Period Policy.
Submissions will be received until 5pm, Friday 31 July 2020, addressed to the Chief Executive Officer either by post: PO Box 1 Glen Waverley Victoria 3150 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org, attention Nick Andrianis.
Submitters are also able to request, in writing, to be heard in support of their submission by a committee comprising all Councillors, at 7pm, Tuesday 18 August 2020.
