From 11.59pm Wednesday 22 July, face coverings will become mandatory for Victorians in metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire when leaving home for any of the four essential reasons outlined under Stage 3 restrictions.
The State Government has advised that face coverings can include reusable and disposable masks, scarves or bandanas.

If making your own face covering, it's best to use a few layers of fabric and make sure it fits snugly over your mouth and nose.
Please remember that if you are using single-use masks, these can only be disposed of in your general waste bin.
