Monash Council is inviting applications for the 2019-20 round of its community grants program that will provide more than $2.5 million in cash and in-kind funding (non-cash support like use of halls).
The Monash Community Grants Program provides funding to local organisations to deliver community-based services, programs, projects and events that promote community wellbeing and social inclusion in the City of Monash.
Monash Mayor Paul Klisaris said this program helped Council to be proactive in responding to community needs.
“Monash Council has one of the largest community grant programs in Victoria and we’re proud to support so many wonderful groups,” Cr Klisaris said.
“These grants give vital support to our dedicated groups and services who work with our community whether it’s youth, older people or those from culturally and linguistically diverse communities”.
Local community groups and organisations are invited to submit applications for cash, hall hire and other in-kind funding to support programs, services, projects and events taking place between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020.
Applications close 5pm Friday, 7 December, 2018.
