A recall of eggs is taking place following the detection of Salmonella on eggs from one producer’s farm. The eggs have been sold under different brands through Woolworths, Coles and independent stores.

If you have eaten eggs recently and are experiencing symptoms such as diarrhoea, fever, headache, nausea, stomach cramps and vomiting please seek medical advice. Customers should return their eggs to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of them in the rubbish bins. Do not put the eggs in a compost bin or feed them to pets.

For more information and to check if the eggs you have purchased are affected, go to egg recall
