Council has determined that a Special Meeting of Council will be held on Friday 27 March at 6pm.
This is being undertaken as a precaution given the rapidly changing environment regarding Coronavirus/COVID-19, and heeding the Premier’s advice that further restrictions are likely to be introduced.
At this Special Meeting, one of the matters Council will consider is whether to proceed with the previously resolved Ordinary Meeting of Council scheduled for Tuesday 31 March.
Council will also determine whether public questions can be considered at the 27 March Special Meeting through suspending standing orders.
Any Public Questions will need to be provided to Council by 2pm Friday 27 March. The Mayor will act as the public’s representative during the meeting and will read out all questions and provide a response over the livestream. A written response will also be provided.
Please be aware of the current advice regarding social distancing requirements stipulating that we cannot have more than 100 people in attendance. This restriction limits the number of people allowed to attend. We do livestream our meetings at webcast.monash.vic.gov.au as they occur and refer residents to that option as an alternative to attending.
The meeting’s agenda and associated reports will be made available tonight Thursday 26 March at Agendas & Minutes
