Smoke from fires in East Gippsland and the north-east are impacting much of Victoria, including Melbourne.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is advising everyone to minimise their exposure to the smoky air conditions, where possible, especially if you have lung and heart conditions (including asthma), are pregnant, over 65 or children under 14 years.
Smoke exposure is also dangerous to pets. Keep your pets safe by keeping them inside and keeping your windows shut. Find out more at the RSPCA website.
You can check air quality updates at the EPA's website.
