Residential Parking Permits

Council provides residential parking permits for residents who live in streets with parking restrictions.

All residential parking permits expire on 31 October each year and need to be renewed before 1 November. All existing permit holders will be notified by 1 October asking to renew their permits.

Council is extending the validity of current residential parking permits until 31 October 2021.  This initiative is part of Council’s commitment to ongoing support to residents in response to the significant impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents can rely on using their current permit(s) with no further action required.

If your permit becomes too faded for view over the next 12 months a replacement(s) will only be issued upon return of the original permit to Council.

Please read permit eligibility criteria and conditions of use (pdf, 657KB) before applying for a residential parking permit.

An additional parking permit may require payment. A tax invoice will be issued once the additional permit has been assessed and approved.

Existing permit holders who would like to apply for carer or additional carer`s permit please select 'New permit’ at the online option.
