Residential Zones

In 2014, new residential zones were introduced across Monash after being approved by the Minister for Planning.

The new zonings came into effect on 13 June 2014.  For details, maps and background on the changes to residential zones, please see:

    Planning Schemes and Design Guidelines for Monash

    Planning schemes are created by the Department of Transport, Planning and Local Infrastructure, and are made up of both maps and the ordinance. The ordinance are the policies and written clauses and the maps depict where the zones and overlays apply within the planning scheme area.
