Proposed Amendment C136: 161-169 and 171 Jells Road, Wheelers Hill

Council is seeking community views on proposed Amendment C136 to the Monash Planning Scheme.

The land affected by this amendment is located at 161-169 and 171 Jells Road, Wheelers Hill.

The Amendment proposes to:

  • Modify the existing Schedule 5 to the Design and Development Overlay to provide an exemption to the mandatory setback controls to allow for a covered walkway to be constructed between the two sites at 161-169, and 171 Jells Road, Wheelers Hill.

Panel Hearings

An independent planning panel will consider the Amendment and each submission that Council receives. The following dates have been proposed for the panel hearing:

  • Panel Directions Hearing (proposed): in the week beginning Monday 5 March 2018
  • Panel Merits Hearing (proposed): in the week beginning Monday 26 March 2018
