This is your last maternal and child health appointment – congratulations on completing all key ages and stage visits with your child!
All family members are welcome at your maternal and child health (MCH) appointments. Please remember to bring your green book and nappy bag!

What happens at my 3.5-year visit?
At your 3.5-year visit, your family and MCH nurse will cover:
- A physical and developmental check (including PEDS-R and a vision check using the Melbourne Initial Screening Test - MIST).
- 4-year-old kindergarten and how to enrol.
- Starting and getting ready for school.
- Upcoming 4-year-old immunisations.
- Toilet training.
- Moving from sleeping in a cot to a bed.
- How you and your family are feeling, and where to find support if needed.

Please note there is no video recording or photography at MCH appointments.
