MCH visit 3: 4 weeks old
All family members are welcome at your maternal and child health (MCH) appointments. Please remember to bring your green book and nappy bag!

What happens at my 4-week visit?
At your 4-week visit, your family and MCH nurse will:
- Go through a physical, growth and developmental check for your baby, including weighing.
- Talk about your baby's feeding, sleep area and safe sleeping recommendations.
- Remind you to book your 6-week post-natal check with your family doctor (GP) or obstetrician (OB).
- Remind you of your baby's 6-8 week immunisations.
- Talk about how you and your family are feeling, and where to find support if needed.
- Discuss parenting groups.
- Share where to find more information. Links below.
Next visit: 8 weeks old.
Please note there is no video recording or photography at MCH appointments.
