Council services are open.
Customer Service counters Civic Centre and Oakleigh Service Centre are open from 8.30am-5.15pm
The transfer station is open from 7.30am - 3pm every day of the week.
The waste collection service continues as normal.
The WTS is accepting tyres and paint products.
All visitors to our facilities must observe COVIDSafe requirements.
All visitors must observe the 1.5m physical distancing.
All visitors are required to check in to our centres and facilities for contact tracing purposes if required.
When you visit the Civic Centre or Oakleigh Service Centre, you will be welcomed by a Concierge who will assist you.
Providing your name and phone number is a requirement of service, in line with State Government requirements and our COVIDSafe Plan.
The Concierge will direct you to our Customer Service staff who can assist with taking your name and phone number prior to helping you with your transaction and then check you out when you have finished.
If you need to speak with our Specialist Counter, the Customer Service staff will check you in and then direct you to the Specialist Counter. When you have finished, the Concierge will assist you in signing out using our kiosk.
Please observe the following requirements when you visit to keep yourself and our staff safe and well:
- Use the hand sanitising station as you enter and exit the building
- Observe the 1.5 metre social distancing requirements, including when you are talking to our customer service staff. Do not move up to the service counter
- Have all your documents ready to lessen the length of your visit.
If you are exhibiting any symptoms that could be COVID-19 such as a cold, runny nose, headache, cough or fever do not visit our premises. Follow the Chief Health Officer's advice and get tested and remain home until you receive a negative test result.
Waste Transfer Station
The WTS is now accepting tyres.
Please remain in your vehicle and if you need to leave the vehicle, you must observe a 1.5 metre distance from everyone.
We strongly encourage the use of contactless card transactions.
Do NOT visit if:
- you have symptoms of respiratory disease (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath)
- have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to your visit.
There are a number of things you must do:
- Stay behind the barriers that are in place.
- Observe the 1.5 metre distancing at all time
Kerbside bin collection and Hard Waste Collection
There are no interruptions to our kerbside bin or hard waste collection.
You can still keep up with what's happening at Council meetings by watching via our livestreaming service at webcast.monash.vic.gov.au
Public questions can be sent to Council by 2pm on the day of the meeting. The Mayor will act as the representative in reading out questions and providing a response over the livestream. A written response will also be provided.
Under current restrictions you cannot attend Council meetings in person.

All community immunisation sessions need to be booked online at Trybooking - Monash Immunisation Sessions.
We are also asking that just 1 adult accompanies their child/children to the immunisation session. Please do not bring extended family/carers to these sessions.
