Curating an Exhibition Under COVID-19

Are you a visual artist? Do you exhibit your work or aspire to do so? If so, this workshop is for you. We will discuss the many processes, stages and questions that artists and curators go through to take an artwork from creation to placement on a gallery wall.

Interesting, yes, but not so simple right now when galleries are closed due to COVID-19. How do we overcome this problem? The workshop will explore the options and solutions for exhibiting online.

Gareth Syvret is a Photographic Curator, Archivist and Researcher. He holds a PhD in Photographic History from De Montfort University, UK. His research interests include photographic history and practice in island cultures and he has curated numerous photography exhibitions that often connect contemporary practice with photographic archives.
