The Australian-Chapter of the festival dedicated to Goddess Mridanga Saileshwari will open at 3pm on Sunday 24 September at Rowville Secondary College, Rowville Secondary College, Performing Arts Centre (corner of Wentworth Avenue & Humphreys Way, Rowville).

Overview of the performance& presentations
The Uthsav will open with a grand music ensemble by a number of Australian leading senior musicians, young artists and capable students.
Thereafter, a series of 20-minute long creative instrumental performances illustrating layam aspects on the violin, veena, flute, percussion and western instruments, will be staged by a group of Australian carnatic music instrumentalists.
Mridangam maestro Guru Kaaraikkudi Mani will then present a quintessential percussion ensemble along with Ghatam exponent Giridhar Udupa of India.
Intermission: 1/2 hour.
As fitting finale during Navarathri, a grand Dance Ballet on Lalitha Sahasranamam will be performed by nine dancers from India for 1 hr and 20 minutes.
