Come and join the Friends of Scotchmans Creek and Valley Reserve and Monash Council's Bush Crew as we plant over 8,000 plants in the Scotchmans Creek corridor on National Tree Day.
This year we will be planting on the south side of the creek, so entry into Fairway Reserve will be in Forster Road near Wilga Street.
- Sunday 28 July
- 10am - 1pm
- Fairway Reserve, Mount Waverley
The Scouts will be cooking a great sausage sizzle, with veggie burgers as well.
All tools are provided, just bring gardening gloves and wear sturdy footwear and your gardening clothes. Bringing your own bottle of water will help to save the environment.
Melbourne Water and their Community Grants Program will be providing the funding for the plants and will assist with the cost of the refreshments.
Council's Bushland & Wetland Maintenance crew will be on-hand to help.
Parking is available along Forster Road or in adjacent streets.
