Remembrance Day flowers

11 November marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War (1914-1918).

Each year on this day Australians observe one minute's silence at 11am, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.

People are welcome to attend the following ceremonies being held in Monash:

  • Glen Waverley Cenotaph, Kingsway (behind Glen Waverley Library)
  • Monday 11 November, 10.30am 
  • Organised by the Waverley RSL

Parking changes: The carpark entrance off Kingsway will be closed to vehicles from 10am – 11.30am. The Springvale Road entrance will remain open during the ceremony.
