Try Mentoring Volunteer Mentor Information Session

28 February 2018 | 06:30PM to 07:30PM

Time spent with a young person from a disadvantaged background can change their life. Try mentoring connects young people with a positive adult role model to spend time together in the community. Volunteers commit to spend time together with a young person for an hour 3-4 times a month for a minimum of 12 months. Time is usually spent doing free or low cost activities like going to the park, playing sports, baking a cake or even walking the dog.

Join us at this information session to find out how you can become a volunteer youth mentor.

Volunteers undergo screening and training before being matched with a young person.

If you have questions or can't make it to the information session please contact Trudie on 8545 9534 or

We are actively seeking new mentors and we have lots of young people interested in having a positive role model in their life!
