Time spent with a young person from a disadvantaged background can change their life. Try mentoring connects young people with a positive adult role model to spend time together in the community. Volunteers commit to spend time together with a young person for an hour 3-4 times a month for a minimum of 12 months. Time is usually spent doing free or low cost activities like going to the park, playing sports, baking a cake or even walking the dog.
Join us at this information session to find out how you can become a volunteer youth mentor.
Volunteers undergo screening and training before being matched with a young person.
If you have questions or can't make it to the information session please contact Trudie on 8545 9534 or email@example.com.
We are actively seeking new mentors and we have lots of young people interested in having a positive role model in their life!
