We are currently finalising the design plans and anticipate commencing construction works in early 2026.

What we will be doing

  • Widening the shared path to 3m along Scotchmans Creek Trail, near Cole Crescent and Warrigal Road.
  • Installing line markings, signage and lighting along the realigned shared user path.
  • Realigning the shared user path, with minimal loss of small trees.

Possible impacts

  • Access to residential properties will be maintained throughout the works.
  • Pedestrians and cyclists may need to use an alternative path during construction between Cole Crescent / Rae Street and Warrigal Road via the overpass bridge.
  • As a result of construction works, 11 small trees will need to be removed. Opportunities to plant new trees in the surrounding area will be investigated.
