Waste education program

Where do all your recycling materials go? Why can't plastic bags be recycled? Can we recycle clothes?

To answer all your questions, we are offering fully-funded recycling education incursions to all schools and community groups. These sessions are fun, interactive and suited to all age groups.

For more details and bookings, please send an email to Deb Patman at deb.patman@monash.vic.gov.au.

Community groups

Monash’s three Friends groups do a great amount of work helping to care for our natural areas through weeding and planting activities. You can also help at one of their regular work sessions.

Meet mid-week and at weekends several times a month for 2-3 hours. Refer to their online monthly newsletter for the most up to date event details
