“From my childhood, I was always fascinated by traditional Indian storytelling which was filled with symbolism and metaphors. Some of the most popular motifs such as peacocks, fish, elephants and lotus have always been featured prominently in traditional Indian art forms. This use of symbolism and vibrancy in Indian art has instilled in me the love for art and creativity from a very young age.
I have been teaching art for over ten years and I am very passionate about representing the beauty of nature through art and design. I believe 'nature' in its entirety is symbolic to 'freedom' or 'free-will', the beauty that cannot be captured or contained. I teach realistic art that helps to strengthen the connection to the natural world.
The collection of artwork displayed here is created by my students aged between 5-16 years. The students have used various art techniques demonstrating a lot of enthusiasm in learning and exploring basic art elements such as drawing, balance, composition, and painting skills.”
