If your bin hasn’t been collected on your collection day, please leave it on the nature strip and contact Council by no later than 5pm the next business day.
Before reporting a missed collection:
- Make sure your bin is already on the nature strip before you report your missed collection. Our drivers may return soon after your report.
- Check if there is a sticker/tag on your bin with reasons why it was missed and fix any issues.
Our drivers will return within 48 hours of logging your request with the Council. If the bin is not on the nature strip when they return, collection will not occur until the next scheduled bin collection day.

To ensure your bins can be collected:
- Put them out the night before collection day
- Only put accepted items in your bins
- Leave adequate space between bins and any trees, poles or parked cars
- Make sure your bins aren’t too heavy – if you are struggling to move them to the nature strip, they may be too heavy for the truck to pick up
