Need help with your Census? Free drop-in sessions available
Published on 10 August 2026
Completing your Census doesn't have to be stressful.
Monash Public Library Service is hosting a series of free Census drop-in sessions this August, where representatives from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) will be available to help residents complete their Census forms and answer questions.
Whether you're filling out your Census online or using a paper form, support is available at libraries across Monash.
If you need assistance, simply bring your laptop or a copy of your paper Census form. No bookings are required.

Why the Census matters
Held every five years, the Census counts every person and household in Australia. The information collected helps governments, businesses and community organisations plan services and infrastructure for local communities now and into the future.
That's why the ABS encourages everyone who is in Australia on Census night to take part.
