Monash is a member of the Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning (EASL). Schools in Monash are eligible to receive access to services, resources and workshops, as well as a free consultation meeting to help kickstart or improve sustainability at your school! A bicycle education trailer is available for free hire to schools to assist students to learn how to ride bicycles.

As part of the Sustainability Education Program, we offer a range of FREE education outreach options for schools and community groups in the City of Monash. These include school visits, resources, and workshops.

Topics we can cover include:

  • Waste and recycling
  • Circular economy and waste reduction
  • Biodiversity and nature
  • Composting

We are currently taking expressions of interest and bookings for the 2025 school year. Places are limited per term so make sure to get in early. Please note: We have limited capacity for kindergartens and early learning centres.
