Who is your local hero and what is their story? Do you know someone who goes the extra mile for the community?
Waverley Historical Society invites you to come hear long time Ralph Bartlett resident talk on Anzac
Flags. Australia's involvement in the Great War, 1914-18, required emblems to represent the young nation and military units of our brave service personnel. It also resulted in two versions of the Australian flag being used.
After the War, Unit Banners have been used at the annual 25 April ANZAC Day Parades across Australia.
