Connecting to Country

Join us at Connecting to Country at Shepherds Bush, hosted by Monash Council and the Friends of Dandenong Valley Parklands.

Wurundjeri Elder Uncle Ian Hunter will Welcome everyone to Country, and then share Indigenous history and culture as we walk through the beautiful bushland area around Dandenong Creek.

Additional information:

• Please wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
• Bring your water bottle.
• The walking component is of moderate walking difficulty (weather can affect the track).
• A light lunch will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements when registering your ticket, or email sustainability@monash.vic.gov.au
• Cultural walks are usually very popular. There will be a waiting list. If you register then find that you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket so that someone else can enjoy the event.
