Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre

The Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre and Opportunity Shop is located on Amaroo Street, just off Waverley Road, Chadstone. Our centre provides a large range of programs to the people of Monash.

We run inclusive, community-based programs that foster expression, connection, and wellbeing, accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. Through these initiatives, Amaroo strengthens the cultural fabric of Monash and celebrates the power of creativity to bring people together.

We are a not-for-profit Neighbourhood Centre for the benefit of all people living in the area. Our goal is to provide innovative programs and services that meet the changing needs of the diverse population.

Encouraging community participation to enable individuals to enhance their lives and strengthen their community. We are accessible and wheelchair friendly and our programs are integrated where appropriate.
