Career Launchpad - Regenerative Economy

A fast-paced networking opportunity between students, academics, and industry which will allow students to investigate a variety of careers and pathways options relevant to a regenerative economy.

● Welcoming address presented by Dr Susie Ho, Monash University’s delegate at the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference.

● Students will work in small groups to create their own suite of questions for professionals.

● Students will participate in short interviews with professionals to gain insight into occupations and pathways leading the push for a regenerative economy.

● Key Monash University faculties, academics, and leading organisations will be represented.

● Excellent opportunity for students to generate early networks, meet with course advisors, and discover entry-level opportunities in the regenerative economy sectors.

Important Details:

● Focusing on Years 9 - 12 students interested in or curious about course & career pathways that support a cleaner, leaner and greener future.

● Morning tea will be provided.

● No formal speeches are required, just a willingness to engage with students in small group discussions about your career and contribution to a regenerative economy.

Please note that industry professionals and academics will require a current Working with Children Check, which can be applied at https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children. For this event, the WWC can be a free voluntary check.
