Elisha Lee

Elisha is a Korean Australian and has studied and lived in Monash for over a decade.

Her family moved to Australia for her father’s work and her family’s overall wellbeing.

Elisha said her parents sought new opportunities for their children which included a better education, the chance to grow up immersed in different cultures, the opportunity to spend time in nature and generally to broaden their horizons.

Elisha said we can all celebrate multiculturalism by learning to understand how our diverse backgrounds and unique experiences contribute and benefit the community.

Elisha is a member of Monash Council’s Multicultural Advisory Committee where she is able to connect with Monash’s multicultural community to help deliver important programs and events such as Councils’ Resilience Against Racism workshops.
