Greek carers Dementia telephone peer support groups

The telephone peer support groups aim to support Greek carers who care for someone living with dementia by:
 
  • Raising awareness, inform and improve the quality of life of carers
  • Increasing carers’ self-esteem and self-confidence 
  • Reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness 
  • Informing carers on various services and supports for their loved ones
  • Link and refer carers with/to various supports

Location

This service aims to connect carers and support them in caring for a loved one with Dementia. Information, advocacy and referral service is provided including strategies in planning for the future, accessing carers' counselling, casework and other services.
