On 26 June 2018, Monash City Council (Council) amended its Meeting Procedures Code 2017, which is a reference document to and incorporated in the Meeting Procedures Local Law No. 1 (the Local Law).
The amendment to the Code provides for:
Notices of Motion to be received by the Chief Executive Officer or an officer nominated by the Chief Executive Officer, by midday, 14 days before a Council meeting;
Notices of Motion to be amended by 9.00am, 5 days before a Council meeting.
A copy of the amended Code may be inspected or obtained at the Council’s Civic Centre at 293 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley, and Council's Oakleigh Service Centre at 3 Atherton Road, Oakleigh during office hours, and on Council's website (see below).
