Council services over Easter 2024

We wish our community a happy and safe Easter

Some Council services will operate as usual during the holiday period (29 March - 1 April 2024) while other services will be unavailable.

Household waste collections

Household rubbish, recycling and green waste bins will be collected as normal.

Monash Recycling and Waste Centre

The Recycling and Waste Centre will be:

• Good Friday (29 March) - closed
• Easter Saturday (30 March) - open (7.30am-3pm)
• Easter Sunday (31 March) - closed
• Easter Monday (1 April) - open (7.30am-3pm)

Council offices

The Monash Civic Centre and the Oakleigh Service Centre will be:

• Closed over the Easter period (29 March - 1 April)
• Offices will reopen on Tuesday 2 April
  
  

Monash Libraries

All branches of the Monash Public Library Service will be:

• Closed over the Easter period (29 March - 1 April)
• Returns can still be made via the afterhours chutes available at all branches

Our eLibrary remains open 24/7.

Aquatic and Recreation Centres

MARC, ORC and CAHC will be: 

• Closed on Good Friday (29 March)
• Open on all other days of the holiday period with reduced opening hours and group fitness classes.
