Community Planting Day and Free Lions Club BBQ
The Friends of Damper Creek Conservation Reserve invite the community to be involved in the environmental restoration of the Fern Gully area.
This is a planting day to increase indigenous plants to provide habitat for small birds, stabilise banks to prevent erosion and improve water quality.
This event is supported by Melbourne Water and a BBQ lunch is provided by the Mount Waverley-Ashwood Lions Club.

Planting site is a short walk from the meeting point (between Bengal Crescent and Swayfield Road, Mount Waverley)
Bring or wear: Wear sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothes including long sleeves, hats, rain jackets and gardening gloves. Sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottle and BYO mug are also recommended.
Physical activity: Moderately strenuous, involves planting.
Bookings not required.
