EV charging bays and Council's vehicle fleet transition

Monash offers 6 public EV charging bays with up to 22kW capacity located at:

Residents can access charging: up to 1 hour in Glen Waverley and 2 hours in Mount Waverley.

Forgot your cable? Borrow one from Glen Waverley or Mount Waverley libraries (Monash library membership required).

These stations are powered by 100% renewable energy via VECO and supported by a $25,000 Destination Charging Victoria Grant.

Greener Council Fleet

We are transitioning our light vehicle fleet to hybrids and EVs and upgrading heavy diesel vehicles to meet the latest Euro standards.

Future upgrades will explore hydrogen, biodiesel, and other sustainable fuels.
